Chico's "Green Realtor"

A primary focus for me is green housing--housing that is healthier, more resource efficient, and better for the environment. I became the first EcoBroker Certified^® Realtor in the North Valley so that I could better serve my clients, whether they are looking for the high-tech (solar powered homes, SIPs, etc.), the natural (straw bale, rammed earth, and so on), or looking to keep more green in their wallets through lower utility bills. I enjoy helping buyers discover what options are out there and how we might go about finding or building a home that works for them. Additionally, I assist homeowners who have taken the time and care to create green homes in finding buyers who appreciate their efforts and see the true value of such homes. I'm an active member of the Chico Sustainability Group, and have been appointed by the mayor of Chico to the Chico Sustainability Task Force, which recommends ways for the city to reduce its carbon footprint.
